What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skid Wrapper position at NORKOL CONVERTING CORP?
TITLE: 2nd Shift Skid Maker/Wrapper DEPT: Sheets
Hours: 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Assemble skids for production. Then wrap finished products on skids with the best possible quality and speed.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Read and understand orders with measurements to produce skids.
- Cut wood to specifications.
- Assemble skids.
- Wrap production on skids with paper and plastic wrap as required per order.
- Keep area supplied with wood and supplies using pallet jack and forklift.
- Enter information on computer for labels.
- Follow Safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
TOOLS, EQUPIMENT & MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:
Table Saw, Nail gun, banding equipment, measuring tape.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Must be able to constantly lift 50 lbs. unassisted. Requires constant squatting and kneeling. Requires Standing all day.
