JOB TITLE: OFFICE & ACTIVITIES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Senior High
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- Previous office experience
- Computer experience in Google or Microsoft applications
REPORTS TO: Assistant Principals, Activity Director
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: Assistant Principals, Activity Director
EVALUATION: Evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the district’s Personnel Evaluation Policy
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten months; 8 hours/day
JOB GOAL: The purpose of this job is assist with the efficient operations of the main office and senior high school activities program and effectively manage the building substitute teacher procurement system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Consistent and punctual "on site" attendance at the worksite is an essential job function
- Perform general secretarial duties including answering the phone, filing, operating office machines, greeting visitors, etc.
- Assist with the efficient and orderly operation of the high school activities program under the guidance of the Activities Director. These duties may include, but not limited to: ordering and managing concession stand supplies, creating and distributing eligibility lists, organizing student permission/physical forms, filling staff absences for activities, and other duties as assigned.
- Organize and effectively manage substitute teacher needs at the high school using the building substitute procurement system.
- Work with staff, students, parents and community members in a cordial and professional manner.
- Cover for other office staff members as needed
- Sort staff mail/distribute information into staff mail boxes as needed.
- Create ID cards for staff and students.
- Crosstrain to assist in different office areas as needed.
- Coordinate student pictures.
- Coordinate concession stand operations (up to 3 locations) and high school vending machines as directed.
