Coil Processing Specialist I

AM Shift - M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm

Production

• Read/understand work orders
• Ensure all proper guarding is on machine before and after use
• Determine speed and adjust machine stop/guides to specific length as needed to complete order
• Position material in coil form on coil cart
• Measure sheet dimensions using a calibrated; tape measure, micrometer and caliper
• Operate and cut metal to specified dimensions
• Package, tag and store in finished area
• Complete paperwork
• Perform machine visual inspections
• Perform material visual inspections
• Perform Quality Assurance checks
• Scrap material
• Assist other employees as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Safety

• Observe all company safety rules
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective equipment: steel toe boots, hard hats, safety, glasses, gloves and arm guards
• Participate in company training on Safety, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne pathogens, accident reporting and others
