Environmental Services Department Manager / Environmental Practice Manager

What You'll Be Doing
- Direct departmental operations, staffing, mentoring, workload, and performance management
- Oversee environmental studies, assessments, permitting, and design support
- Lead SEQR and NEPA compliance on complex public-sector projects
- Manage budgets, schedules, quality, profitability, and client relationships
- Drive proposals, scope development, fee estimates, and business development
- Review technical reports and conduct field investigations as needed
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning, Biology, Geology, or a related field
- 10 years of relevant experience, including project and personnel management
- Strong SEQR, NEPA, and environmental permitting expertise
- PE, PG, or AICP credential preferred
- Experience in one or more of: air or water quality, ecology and wildlife biology, historic and cultural resource evaluation, Phase I/II environmental site assessments, or environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
