POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of employees to achieve daily production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role serves as a liaison between frontline workers and management, ensuring that work is completed accurately and on time. The Team Lead provides hands-on support, helps train new team members, monitors workflow, and fosters a collaborative work environment.

Essential Functions:
· Lead daily team activities to ensure production goals are met.
· Assign tasks and monitor progress to maintain efficient workflow.
· Support and train team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality expectations.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors, other leads, and departments to coordinate resources and resolve issues.
· Monitor product quality and immediately address any defects or inconsistencies.
· Ensure all safety rules and company policies are followed.
· Provide input on employee performance and assist with coaching under the guidance of the supervisor.
· Assist with inventory checks, material handling, and organization of workstations.
· Complete daily reports, production paperwork, and data entry as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years’ experience with manufacturing equipment and/or environment. Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: Equipment Operator License (HI-LO) Must be able to pass a Respiratory exam. Ability to operate Pallet Jacks.
Other Requirements:
· Monitors production activity, identifies process problems, troubleshoots causes and develops solutions. Suggests improvements to improve efficiency or safety.
· Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
· Lead the production team (including performing hands-on production and assembly functions), mentor and motivate team members, maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, and ensure individual and group productivity.
· Assist with team meetings to update team members on best practices and continuing expectations. Answer, help, and oversee all team members’ work for quality and compliance.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to schedule multiple activities and resources for efficient and effective utilization.
· Report all issues to management, monitor process flow, and track goal attainment and deadlines.
· Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment.
· Manage and maintain accuracy of the hour-by-hour production board to ensure goals are met.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
