Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce aligned with company standards.
- Assist with payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling processes accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and purchasing decisions to maximize profitability.
- Work with owner to Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost store traffic and sales performance.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; ensure cashiering procedures are followed diligently.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or store operations with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred.
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, employee orientation, interviewing, and team leadership
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, retail math, budgeting, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff on customer service standards and operational procedures.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus.
- Great customer service skills and ability to work with employees and customers alike. Handle issues with customer concerns and resolve quickly and simply.
