Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into the manufacturing system.
- Communicate with customers to gather and clarify purchase order information.
- Partner with the drafting team to confirm and update order details.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to customer orders.
- Support the Customer Experience team by assisting with quote requests from the quotes queue.
- Provide backup support for incoming customer phone calls and inquiries.
- Assist with order processing for Key and Target Accounts as assigned.
- Collaborate across departments to help ensure customers receive the correct products on time.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of experience in order entry, customer service, or inside sales preferred.
- Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Power Transmission industry knowledge is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent comprehension, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong memory retention and ability to learn technical product information.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
- Ability to work at a desk and operate a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
