Duties

• Greet customers warmly, providing expert advice on bakery products and assisting with their selections
• Prepare and assemble baked goods, including cake decorating, pastry filling, and food presentation
• Package baked items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and safety
• Restock shelves with fresh bakery items, ensuring proper rotation and cleanliness
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with food safety regulations
• Support food production activities such as mixing, baking, and portioning to meet daily demand
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, demonstrating knife proper food preparation techniques
• Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health standards and safety guidelines

Experience

• Previous experience in a bakery, or restaurant environment is preferred
• Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry arts is a strong advantage
• Hands-on experience baking, and food safety practices is essential
• Customer service experience in a retail or food industry setting is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
