Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) in English; this skill is a must-have
  • 2 or more years of remote video surveillance monitoring experience
  • Computer hardware/software competency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Reliable, positive, and self-motivated, displaying strong customer service aptitude
  • Preference given to those with post-secondary education (or equivalent experience), preferably in a Petroleum-related field, allowing an understanding of the technology and sites being monitored
  • Previous oilfield operating experience as well as SCADA experience would be considered assets
  • Network, programming, database administration, and other technological knowledge would be considered an asset

Responsibilities
  • Noralta Technologies is seeking a Video Surveillance Monitoring Analyst who would be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities in support of assisting and expanding Noralta’s customers
  • View and monitor remote video surveillance and thermal cameras for problems on sites
  • Outbound calls to all clients – notification of issues, troubleshooting on service, etc. (can involve after-hours call-outs)
  • Continual communication with our technical staff and clients located in the field
  • Alarm Management, response to, and providing solutions to the client
  • Technical help and troubleshooting using a calm, multi-tasking approach
  • Focus on improving techniques and efficiencies with the implementation of technology
  • Applicants will be responsible for their own transportation to the Control Center
