Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise in various imaging modalities, including nuclear medicine, PET scans, CT scans, mammography, DEXA scans, and X-ray procedures, will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and CT scans with precision and attention to detail
• Prepare patients for imaging exams by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and applying aseptic techniques when necessary
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection standards
• Assist in diagnostic evaluations by capturing clear images that meet clinical requirements for accurate interpretation
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with medical terminology standards
• Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with safety regulations

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as an X-ray tech.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Certification as an X-Ray Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required
• Current BLS certification

Pay: $61.00 per hour
