Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Shift - Night Shift (7pm-7am), weekend and holiday availability required
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health issues and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical directives.
- Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with hospital standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Current RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
