Overview
We are seeking motivated and eager Apprentice Carpenters / Laborers to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of commercial carpentry & construction, providing a solid foundation for a future career in the industry. As an apprentice, you will work alongside skilled professionals to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful projects.
Travel is Required

- South Dakota
Duties
- Assist carpenters with project construction.
- Perform labor associated with construction including nailing and cutting lumber to size.
- Observe and follow company safety policies
- Attend company safety meetings as required.
- Recognize an unsafe condition and bring it to the attention of the foreman or superintendent.
- Keep job site clean & properly stack and protect materials from the elements.
- Perform proper care and basic maintenance of all on-site company tools and equipment.
- Support carpenters as needed for increased productivity through proper planning and looking ahead.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
- Ability to work with power and air tools efficiently, proficiently, and safely.
- A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a working telephone number are required.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Frequently works with/near machinery, electricity, power tools, impact tools, chemicals, fumes, and heights.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- This position will have occasional use and operation of motor vehicles and operate foot pedals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
