Job Overview
New View Renovations LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to learn the remodeling trade, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on residential remodeling projects including bathrooms, flooring, decks, kitchens, and other home renovations. Every day offers the chance to build new skills while contributing to exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential remodeling projects from start to finish
- Perform demolition, site preparation, and job site cleanup
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials
- Assist with framing, trim work, flooring, cabinetry, and installations
- Follow directions from lead carpenters and project managers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Represent New View Renovations professionally while interacting with homeowners
- Learn new carpentry techniques and continually develop your trade skills
Skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable performing physical labor and lifting 50 pounds
- Ability to use or learn hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous construction or carpentry experience is a plus but not required -- we are willing to train the right person
