Senior Vice President, Partnerships

Position Overview

The Senior Vice President, Strategy and Partnerships is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping enterprise strategy, driving business growth, and cultivating high-impact partnerships that advance long-term organizational objectives. This role serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while operating as a highly collaborative, cross-functional leader who connects planning, business development, operations, and external engagement.


In addition to core strategy and partnership responsibilities, this role brings a distinctive capability in integrating executive engagement, public affairs, and stakeholder strategy into enterprise decision-making. The successful candidate will design disciplined, risk-aware engagement approaches that align executive visibility, policy positioning, and stakeholder relationships with broader business objectives.


You will lead strategic planning efforts, identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, and oversee the development of partnerships that expand revenue, market presence, and organizational impact. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to align enterprise priorities with actionable plans and ensure initiatives are executed with rigor, discipline, and measurable results.


Responsibilities

Enterprise Strategy and Growth

- Partner with executive leadership to define and advance short- and long-term strategic priorities.

- Translate enterprise goals into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.

- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, revenue streams, and market expansions.

- Lead cross-functional planning to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

- Develop executive-level materials, including board presentations and strategic memos.

- Integrate stakeholder, regulatory, and reputational considerations into enterprise strategy.

Partnerships, Stakeholder Engagement, and Public Affairs Integration

- Build and lead a comprehensive partnerships and stakeholder engagement strategy.

- Design and execute executive engagement strategies that strengthen institutional credibility and support growth.

- Navigate complex political, regulatory, and stakeholder environments with sound judgment and discretion.

- Structure and negotiate partnerships that expand reach and market impact.

- Serve as a senior relationship leader with external stakeholders including clients, partners, and policymakers.

- Ensure alignment between public affairs, communications, and business strategy.


Operations and Cross-Functional Leadership

- Partner across finance, communications, people operations, and business teams to align strategy with execution.

- Ensure initiatives are supported by strong financial planning and operational discipline.

- Lead complex, high-priority projects requiring cross-functional coordination.

- Implement frameworks and dashboards to track performance and progress.

- Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and ways of working.


Executive Leadership and Communications

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on growth, partnerships, and market dynamics.

- Distill complex issues into clear, actionable insights.

- Represent the organization in external forums and high-level engagements.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

- Lead and develop high-performing teams.


Qualifications

- 15 years of experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, public affairs, or executive advisory roles.

- Proven ability to operate at the intersection of business strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy environments.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen.

- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead across complex organizations.

- Experience advising CEOs and executive teams in high-stakes environments.

- High degree of professionalism, judgment, and discretion.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
