What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Accountant position at Nolato Contour?
At Nolato Contour, we are a fast-growing and quickly evolving decentralized contract manufacturing organization. What does this mean for you as the Plant Accountant – it means being pigeonholed and relegated to “keeping the books” isn’t an option. In our organization, we need every Accounting and Finance team member to be a business partner. The Plant Accountant will be responsible for collaborating with a broad and diverse range of team members to ensure accurate accounting of what’s happening, insightful communications of results, an intense focus on why, and a desire to leverage new and emerging technologies to improve both processes and insights.
Starting out, the Plant Accountant will build their base with responsibility for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation and support for business continuity functions such as AP and AR. Support and ownership of topics such as Fixed Assets, Inventory accounting and both corporate and managerial reporting and analysis will start to enhance their understanding of the business and its value proposition. The Plant Accountant will have an immediate impact on the technical side too, supporting tax reporting and analysis, internal controls and audit support, and statutory reporting. On the horizon, engagement into areas of cost and price analysis, project accounting, and investment analysis will continue to stretch and grow the Plant Accountant.
We’re looking for a Humble, Curious, and Energetic “Multi-Purpose Infielder” with a passion for accounting, analysis, and connecting business decisions to business results. If you want to dig-in, learn, grow, and compete to improve, let’s talk.
