What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Maintenance Technician position at Nolato Contour?
- Clean molds; disassemble, clean, lubricate and re-assemble molds for production.
- Maintain accurate mold cleaning records.
- Assist Mold Maintenance personnel and Tool Maker in locating and moving molds.
- Maintain the mold, and mold component storage areas and associated location lists.
- Maintains an organized and safe work environment, keep area clear of debris.
- Performs periodic cleaning of tooling areas.
- Data entry using a personal computer.
- Support and comply with all ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 Policies, Procedures, SOP’s, Work Instructions as they apply to the job classification or specifically assigned job and complete as directed all required training related to these standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
(4) rotating 10-hour shifts per week
Knowledge / Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired
- This position requires basic communication and mathematic skills, and the ability to utilize a variety of instructions in written or oral form.
- Required to stand, walk, bend, and frequently lift up to 70 pounds.
- Requires ability to push/pull molds and tools.
- Moderate noise level occasionally encountered.
- Vision abilities include close, color, distance and focus.
- Good mechanical aptitude required.
- Experience using personal computer software; Word, Excel, etc. desired. Support and comply with all ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 Policies, Procedures, SOP’s, Work Instructions as they apply to the job classification or specifically assigned job and complete as directed all required training related to these standards.
