What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Nolan Companies?
In search of bookkeeper to help maintain accounting functions for large real estate investment company.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing general bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to account reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Quickbooks.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ideal experience for candidate:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Quickbooks/Microsoft Office.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting in the real estate/hospitality industry
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
