Overview
Join our hospitality team as a Part-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.
Monday and Tuesdays 9am to 4pm, occasional Sundays
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs and hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution
- Adhere to all hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy while providing excellent service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is highly preferred; hotel or custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies ensures efficient task completion
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving cleaning equipment
