- Provide reliable support for the San Jose Firmware System Integration Test (SIT) lab, including setup of test equipment and optical components.
- Conduct manual testing for project use cases and investigate customer-related issues in the lab.
- Enhance existing Python scripts and design new test cases to meet project requirements.
- Automate testing processes on the PACE test platform using Python.
- Analyze test reports to allocate firmware bug responsibilities effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline testing workflows and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to optical firmware testing.
- Document test procedures and results for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Must-Have:
- Proficient in Python programming
- Experience with optical communication concepts
- Hands-on experience in a lab environment for hardware and software testing
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Nice-To-Have:
- Familiarity with optics testing methodologies
- Experience in test report analysis for firmware bug allocation
