Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. We are seeking a person who shows attention to detail and is willing to learn.
As part of the NEC team, you will work with a wonderful group of clients in a relaxed work environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering with experience in the water and wastewater fields. Responsibilities
- Water, wastewater, and infrastructure design
- Water Modeling
- Rate Studies
- Report and specification preparation
- Construction administration
- Involvement with permitting
- May attend design review meetings with clients
- Assist with other duties assigned by the Project Manager
- Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of multiple projects is essential
Qualifications

- Applicant must already live in Colorado or be willing to relocate
- Applicant must be willing to work onsite at our Johnstown office
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
- P.E. License or ability to obtain licensure in future
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Pay is dependent upon qualifications.
