Position: Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $72,000 - $85,000, based on experience
What We Are Looking For
The HR Business Partner will act as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters within their assigned business units. This role involves providing support across key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, leave, payroll, and time and attendance.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR concerns within assigned business units, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, conducting interviews, facilitating new hire onboarding, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Assist employees with basic benefits inquiries, including healthcare, retirement plans, and leave of absence policies (FMLA, PFL, short-term disability, etc.).
- Support payroll processes by assisting with time and attendance tracking and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
- Partner with business unit leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and drive employee engagement and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Participate in HR special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist or HR business partner role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll/time and attendance systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
