What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Cashier position at Noble Tustin LLC?
- Operate POS and credit card/debit card terminals
- Handle exchanges, payment and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
- Maintain accurate cash drawer
- Take a tally of the funds in the POS when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderl
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
- Completed Side work before closing shift
- Help food preparation staff when necessary etc.
- Receive and store supplies
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
