Bakery Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team and ensure the highest quality of our products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment.

Hours:

Monday - Friday

8AM-4PM

Overtime during seasonal increases

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Supervise a team of bakers to ensure they are meeting quality and customer service standards.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure all staff members are proficient in their roles.
- Oversee food service management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the bakery.
- Implement and maintain high-quality food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious bakery items, including fine dining options.
- Ensure that all bakery equipment and tools are properly maintained and clean.
- Manage the coffee shop and bar area, ensuring that all staff members are trained to provide exceptional coffee and beverage service.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that all staff members are proficient in their roles.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a bakery or food service management role.
- Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- A passion for high-quality food
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- The ability to manage budgets and finances effectively.
- The ability to train and develop staff members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
