Position Summary

The Director of Operations & Business Development serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership and plays a critical role in driving organizational growth, operational performance, business development initiatives, and strategic execution across the organization.

This executive leadership position is responsible for translating vision into action by leading operational strategy, process improvement initiatives, talent acquisition efforts, organizational development, performance management systems, and growth-focused business initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of operational leadership, business acumen, strategic planning expertise, organizational development experience, and entrepreneurial thinking. They will work directly with executive leadership to support practice growth, improve operational efficiency, optimize workflows, strengthen organizational culture, and develop systems that support scalability and long-term success.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Business Development

• Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, organizational growth, market expansion, and business development initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve operational performance, strengthen patient acquisition efforts, and enhance organizational scalability.

• Lead strategic initiatives that support long-term growth objectives, operational excellence, and sustainable business success.

• Evaluate emerging healthcare trends, technology solutions, and market opportunities to strengthen organizational competitiveness.

Operations Management & Organizational Excellence

• Develop, implement, and optimize operational systems, workflows, policies, procedures, and performance management processes.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, efficiency, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.

• Establish KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting systems that provide actionable business intelligence and operational visibility.

• Utilize technology, automation, AI solutions, CRM platforms, and workflow tools to improve operational performance and scalability.

Executive Leadership & Strategic Execution

• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to executive leadership.

• Help prioritize organizational initiatives, allocate resources, remove operational barriers, and ensure the successful execution of key projects.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration and alignment across departments to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.

• Support executive decision-making through analysis, reporting, operational insight, and performance data.
