Field Technician

Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of detention locks on different platforms. i.e. Cell doors, sliding devices, electrically operated windows…..
• Installation of door frames, window frames and dayroom frames into both government and privately owned detention facilities.
• Demolition/ renovation of existing facilities and the installation of new door frames, doors, windows and other detention items.
• Installation of metal ceilings within cell dayrooms and passage ways.
• Prepare and install detention windows (Fire rated, Two way, Bullet proof) in both occupied and new detention facilities.
• Placement and securing of dayroom and cell furniture per the blue prints or Superintendents specifications.
• Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites; adhere to all safety protocols
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, daily reports, project reports and utilizing hardware schedules to complete work.

Requirements

• Candidates need to have the ability to travel across state lines and within the states of Florida.
• Individuals must pass a drug test, motor vehicle back ground check and a criminal back ground check. Individuals with felonies or extensive driving records need not apply.
• Must be physically able to work in the elements (heat, cold) and the able to lift/carry (50lbs) materials on the jobsite.
• Individuals need to have the ability to read and understand blueprints for the jobsites.
• Must have the ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Must have a valid drivers license to operate company vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various conditions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills combined with a customer-focused attitude
• Have the ability to complete online classes and operate equipment around the jobsite. i.e. lull, man lifts, scissor lift or boom lift.

Noah Detention also offers $50 per diem per day. We also pay for the hotels/ AirBNB and we also provide the tools and safety equipment for the job.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
