No Place Like Home is seeking a dedicated Home Care Office Manager/Care Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our home care agency. This position is partly patient care and partly manager, growing into more management duties over time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care with an interest in learning to manage the team and agency. The candidate will be responsible for patient care at times, while also assisting with scheduling and answering phones. Usefull skills include working knowledge of computers (including Word and Excel). Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, professional, flexible and a good listener & communicator who is interested in delivering exceptional care to clients and support to staff. Responsibilities
- Manage all administrative functions of the home care office, including scheduling and patient records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
- Supervise caregiving staff, providing leadership & training as necessary to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Answer phone calls from new and existing customers. Make home visits to onboard new clients.
- Coordinate as necessary with medical providers and external agencies to facilitate quality patient care.
- Learn Veteran's billing procedures, and long term care insurance processes related to home care services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Home Care or other healthcare settings; nursing (CNA, RN, LPN) or therapy degree is a plus.
- Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated ability to lead effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, Excel, Word, etc.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance.
- Willingness to learn human resources functions such as staff recruitment and training.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
