Responsibilities- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping in accordance with dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Help clients with medication reminders and personal healthcare routines as required.
- Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and social activities.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or ability to the care coordinator.
- Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and their families.
- Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass a saliva drug test.
