Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 and NEC standards
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately to guide installation and maintenance tasks
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system connections safely and efficiently
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults and implement effective solutions
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, including circuit testing, grounding checks, and safety assessments following electrical safety procedures
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects or new installations, providing expert guidance on electrical system integration
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and compliance documentation
• Adhere strictly to local electrical codes and safety regulations while working on construction sites or in existing facilities

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial control systems
• Skilled in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage wiring techniques with a focus on safety procedures
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for precise execution of projects
• Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on electrical systems installation or upgrades
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting purposes
• Strong understanding of local electrical codes along with NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements
• Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex electrical systems including control panels and automation equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
