What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at NNCBS (ABCS of Behavior)?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior management techniques and providing patient care. Our company offers flexible schedules for students or individuals looking for experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Document patient progress and behaviors accurately in medical records
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Utilize behavioral health techniques to support individuals in achieving their goals
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- High School Diploma Required
- Must be 18 years of Age
- 40 Hour RBT training will be completed online once hired
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
