Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for overseeing assessment in the department, support course scheduling, oversee student programs like peer-mentoring, oversee student forms and tracking completion, helping students with mentoring/advising, working with students for degree completion, and monitoring retention and recruitment for the department. They will also support the administrative assistant, all academic programs, and social media/communications. They may also help organize and plan department events for various stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Associate's Degree 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Show evidence of high-quality student engagement and support.
  • Ability to adapt to the demands of various programs within higher education.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of programs within the department.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
