Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Plant Production Technician to support our outdoor and greenhouse plant production operations in Las Cruces.
This is a labor-intensive, fast-paced role that requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily production goals. Our team works on strict timelines to maintain plant health and production schedules.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, handling plants throughout their lifecycle, and contributing to a team-driven production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform plant maintenance tasks, including pruning, deleafing, and structural support
- Assist with transplanting and moving plants between growth stages and work areas
- Water plants and support irrigation systems (hand watering system checks)
- Monitor plant condition and report any issues (stress, pests, deficiencies, etc.)
- Assist with canopy management and spacing to ensure proper plant development
- Support harvest preparation, including cleanup, breakdown, and staging areas
- Transport plants, soil, and materials throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas
- Follow daily task lists and meet production deadlines and output targets
- Work efficiently in a high-output, fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8 hours (standing, bending, lifting)
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, and varying conditions
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs consistently
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and stay on schedule
- Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred (not required):
- Experience in agriculture, landscaping, nursery, or greenhouse work
- Experience working in production-based or deadline-driven environments.
Qualifications
