What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Assistant position at NM Group?

We’ve recently partnered with a new non profit t in our NYC location and are building 2–3 marketing teams around top performers. While this begins as an entry-level role, we are seeking candidates with long-term potential. Our goal is to train select individuals from entry level into managing director roles within a year. The pace is ambitious, but it matches the growth our clients demand—and we’re ready for the challenge.
Our ideal candidate is:

- Bachelors required, masters preferred
- Based in NYC or able to relocate within 2–3 weeks
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver and execute marketing presentations on behalf of our clients
- Provide daily feedback to your team lead and weekly reports to the account manager on all KPIs
- Manage client site relationships
- Travel for networking events every 2–3 months
- Lead monthly presentations to track team progress
- Stay up to date with client initiatives
- Conduct market research before new events
- Recommend new revenue opportunities
We’re new to NYC and focused on building a strong foundation for growth. All employees receive paid training, a base salary, and the chance to earn bonuses and benefits after 90 days. We’re hiring immediately and will prioritize local candidates who can attend in-person interviews.
