Job Title: Oracle Retail MFCS Technical Architect
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid/Onsite/Remote)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail MFCS Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, integration, and implementation of Oracle Retail Merchandising solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Retail MFCS/RMS, strong technical architecture capabilities, hands-on integration experience, and proven leadership in delivering large-scale retail transformation programs.
This role requires a highly skilled architect who can collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing retail solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle Retail MFCS and related Oracle Retail applications.
- Lead solution design and implementation activities across Oracle Retail Merchandising platforms.
- Architect and oversee integrations between Oracle Retail and enterprise systems including ERP, POS, WMS, E-commerce, Finance, and Supply Chain applications.
- Develop architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and solution design documents.
- Design and implement MFCS extensions, custom validations, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Drive performance optimization initiatives through efficient PL/SQL development and tuning.
- Define data migration, conversion, reconciliation, and data quality strategies.
- Establish architecture best practices for scalability, security, availability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to onsite and offshore development teams.
- Conduct technical reviews of architecture, design, code, and project deliverables.
- Identify project risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence across the program.
Required Skills & Experience
- Oracle Retail Expertise
- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail solutions.
- Strong implementation experience in Oracle Retail MFCS (Merchandise Financial & Commercial Suite) and/or Oracle Retail RMS (Retail Merchandising System).
Experience with Oracle Retail modules including:
- MFCS
- RMS
- RDS
- SACS
- ORPCS
- ORIMCS
- Retail Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of:

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL development and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, or Event Hub technologies.
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Retail industry experience in:
