Duties
- Lead concrete crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Coordinate daily construction activities, including pouring, finishing, curing, and formwork setup
- Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to project managers
- Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
Requirements
- Experience in leading concrete crews
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
- Experience with curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, as well as pour in place walls
- Bridge experience is a plus
