Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
NJR Group seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing work on a variety of projects. Your expertise will help ensure smooth, durable, and visually appealing concrete surfaces. Responsibilities

• Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level, and textured finishes.
• Operate concrete mixers and pumps to pour and distribute concrete efficiently across various site locations.
• Install rebar and formwork according to schematics and blueprints to prepare for concrete pouring.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise execution of projects.
• Maintain safety standards by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while adhering to site safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in concrete finishing and related construction trades
• Experience with curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and pour in place walls
• Strong mechanical knowledge of construction tools and schematics reading.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of rebar installation, form building, metal stud framing, and other masonry techniques.
• Experience with bridge pours is a plus
• Experience with concrete pumping systems and concrete mixer operation is highly desirable.
