Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
Take a leadership role with the CEO partnering with senior management, Board of Directors, and other leaders on the strategic visioning of a five-year roadmap including the responsibility for annual assessment and update of the plan;
Demonstrate consistent, transparent communication and a collaborative approach that brings clarity and alignment across stakeholders. Risk Mitigation & Fiscal Management
Lead all financial matters for NJPAC as a tool for effective management, including financial forecasting, risk mitigation strategies (including insurance programs), and long-range scenario planning for new and existing initiatives;
Establish business priorities and provide analytical insights that ensure fiscal health while remaining accountable for measurable results.

Oversight & Entrepreneurial Efficiency
Lead financial operations with a focus on institutional efficiency;
Track the high-level progress of strategic initiatives and monitoring key performance goals. Key is giving departmental leadership reliable financial tools to gauge success and access risk;
Align resources with mission-driven goals and strategic objectives;
Provide financial projections, analytics for operations and opportunities, including projected ROI and cash flows;
Review progress of multiple real estate projects with EVP of Real Estate and Capital Projects to ensure related financial tracking, cash flows align with project timelines while gauging their effect on operational finances. Board & Committee Engagement
Act as the key architect and facilitator of agendas and deliverables for the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Finance-related committees (Audit, Investment, Operations & Finance); Ensure timely preparation of high-quality materials with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and driving informed governance. External Representation & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary voice for finance and business operations, to Senior Management colleagues at NJPAC, lenders and other financial institutions, business stakeholders and community leaders, lenders, at the discretion of the CEO. Collaborative Innovation
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate and structure new project initiatives, real estate ventures, and fundraising strategies—providing analytical insights to drive revenue growth and advance mission impact. Working Manager & Team Leadership

Qualifications:
Professional Experience
Candidate must demonstrate progressively responsible strategic leadership experience overseeing financial and business affairs, ideally within a non-profit organization of comparable size, scale, and complexity;
Deep knowledge of non-profit business operations, with strong financial acumen, including regulatory compliance, audit management, complex budgeting, board reporting, and multiyear business planning. Experience in real estate cash functions and understanding the long range impact of equity investment for organizational growth and sustainability;
Proven experience in the consolidated financials across multiple entities or business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals and accounting standards;
Demonstrated success providing strategic oversight of finance, people and organization, and information technology functions within high-performing, mission-driven organizations;
Proven ability to engage and build trust with external stakeholders, including governing boards, community partners, donors, and institutional funders;
A deep and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of leadership and team culture;
Unimpeachable integrity and ethical judgment; skilled at managing confidential and sensitive matters with discretion;

Preferred:
CPA and/or MBA (in Accounting or Finance);
Experience within the arts & entertainment sector;
Experience with real estate finance, debt structuring documents and management of governmental support programs;
Familiarity with SalesForce, NetSuite, Google Workspace and Microsoft products.
Salary : $380,000 - $420,000
