Position Summary
The Cultivation Associate supports daily cannabis cultivation operations, including plant care, sanitation, harvesting, and facility maintenance. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to work in a regulated cannabis environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with all aspects of cannabis cultivation including planting, transplanting, pruning, defoliation, and trellising
· Water, feed, and monitor plants in accordance with established SOPs
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation rooms, tools, and equipment
· Assist with harvesting, drying, trimming, and post-harvest processing as needed
· Monitor plants for pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies and report findings to supervisors
· Accurately complete required documentation and comply with all state and company regulations
· Follow all safety, security, and sanitation protocols
· Perform additional duties as assigned to support cultivation operations
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required
· Prior experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or greenhouse work preferred but not required
· Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warm, humid conditions
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Must be eligible to work in the cannabis industry under New Jersey law and pass required background checks
Schedule & Work Environment
This position is based in an indoor cultivation facility. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, or extended hours based on operational needs.
