Gluer Folder Operator

Nite Owl Packaging is seeking an experienced Lead Gluer Folder Operator to join our team on night shift. We are an SQF-certified facility committed to quality, food packaging safety, and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a skilled operator with strong mechanical knowledge, leadership ability, and a sharp eye for detail.

The Lead Gluer Folder Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and leading production on multiple gluer folder machines while ensuring all jobs meet quality, safety, and production requirements.

• ADGM Smartfold 1100SL
• Eureka FY-1100

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate gluer folder equipment efficiently and safely
• Lead night shift gluer folder operations and help ensure production goals are met
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed for quality and efficiency
• Inspect cartons during production to verify glue adhesion, folding accuracy, print registration, and overall product quality
• Troubleshoot machine issues and work with maintenance when needed
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and SQF requirements
• Verify job tickets, specifications, and production instructions before and during runs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Train or assist other operators and support staff as needed
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding production status, issues, and shift handoff details

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating gluer folders in a quality-focused shop
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with carton folding and gluing quality checks
• Ability to work a 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM shift schedule
• Prior experience in a packaging or printing environment preferred
• Experience and proficiency with HHS gluing systems is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
