Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Flexo Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials. The Flexo Operator will play a crucial role in the packaging process, contributing to the overall success of our production line.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Set up press equipment and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards are met throughout production runs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with prepress teams to ensure accurate file preparation and color matching.
- Fabricate and assemble components as needed for packaging solutions.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for material handling within the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Flexo Folder Gluer machines (e.g., Bobst, Ward, or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications
- Familiarity with corrugated board types and box styles
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
