Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
- Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and recommended services.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely and efficient vehicle servicing.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments for services rendered.
- Maintain detailed records of all service transactions, repair orders, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay informed about the latest automotive repair techniques including diesel engine repair, auto body work, air brake systems, shocks & struts, and other mechanical services to provide expert guidance.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and customer service.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures across various vehicle types including diesel engines.
- Experience in auto estimating software and sales techniques to effectively upsell services.
- Familiarity with a wide range of automotive repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, tire services, suspension work, and auto body repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
