Nisbet Brower is looking for a Class A CDL Driver.

Role Summary

The Driver Class A-CDL will have a proven track record of safe driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle building materials efficiently. This position involves transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport building materials to and from specified destinations.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods while adhering to company schedules and routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate forklifts, Moffit and or other loading equipment is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
