What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Esthetician position at Nirvana Wellness and Spa?
We are launching a moody, rustic and relaxing Med Spa in downtown Saint Cloud and are looking for a part-time fun and friendly Aesthetician to join our growing team. This role will have growth opportunities, commission opportunities, and a full-time opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about skincare, client experience, and delivering results in a luxury environment (Opening Soon - hiring ahead of launch).
Job Overview:
- Part-Time start (Full time opportunity as business grows)
- Starting at $22/h with the option to increase pay up to $28 eventually based on performance and business growth as time goes (tips and commission are additional to this)
- $2 commission for every client session completed (commission will grow with business growth) along with client tips being 100% yours always from the start of the business
- Salon Manager Opportunity (will chat during interview stage)
- Growth potential into expanded roles as the business scales
- Ensure clients are comfortable, relaxed, and get the most from their facial service
- Talk with clients about their skin needs and do a skin assessment
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Ensure treatment room is clean, sanitized, organized, and fully prepared
- Full-Time opportunity as business grows
- Perform customized luxury facials with Med Spa products (training will be provided)
- Perform hydrafacial treatments and microneedling in the future
- Additional services will be added as business grows
- Future will hold many team building and team appreciation parties such as boat parties, team restaurant dinners, Galantine’s dinners, Christmas parties etc. (optional attendance)
- Assist with private events (bridal parties, birthday parties etc.)
- Desire to work in a team oriented, supportive and relaxed work environment
- Help advertise business in the community and through social media prior to launch and after (commission incentives)
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed AP Aesthetician in Minnesota (in good standing)
- Experience with facials and Hydrafacial type treatments (required)
- Knowledge or experience with facial lymphatic drainage (preferred but not required - training will be provided)
- Friendly, upbeat and kind personality with good communication skills
- Passionate about skincare, wellness and client results
- Team player (works well in a team environment)
- Interested in long-term growth within a developing spa brand
- Eager and open to learning new things and contribute towards creating a tight knit team
- Will excitedly go into the community along with using social media before and after official launch to spread the word of our services (more clients through the door = more growth/commission opportunities for you)
- Is enthusiastic about social media, enjoys creating and sharing content, has personal presence online (preferred not required)
- Comfortable participating in team photoshoots, appearing in business related social media content, and being present at most company events
- Help clean spa if Spa Coordinator needs help
