Overview
Nirvana North is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care for an individual in a private setting. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will support patients with daily living activities, monitor their health status, and assist Nirvana North's staff in delivering exceptional care.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Lift and transfer patients safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified nursing assistant program preferred.
- Experience in acute care or hospital medicine is a plus.
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols is beneficial.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and aseptic technique is advantageous.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
