NIRA Inc, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is seeking a junior Project Manager to support a critical FAA program and support the modernization of the Air Traffic Control critical systems by facilitating IP infrastructure migration. The Individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership. This position requires strong analytical and engineering skills, the ability to collect and combine information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive picture of the project and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.Required: Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance The Technical Project Manager will support a critical FAA program modernizing Air Ground (A/G) Communication systems, with a focus on IP infrastructure migration. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and coordination skills to manage system implementation activities, analyze complex data, and communicate program status and solutions to senior leadership.Responsibilities:Coordinate IP infrastructure implementation and network provisioning activitiesTrack and process IP address requests and telecommunications service requestsMaintain IP management databases and support capacity planningSupport commissioning of new system channels and future IP assignmentsCollaborate with engineering and test teams to verify VoIP performance (SIP/RTP) and troubleshoot call quality issuesAnalyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to assess impacts, risks, and solutionsPrepare and present status reports, dashboards, and briefings for senior stakeholdersServe as liaison between program offices, management, and external partnersDevelop and maintain project documentation, SOPs, IP plans, and change recordsKnowledge/Skills:5 years of experience in IP networking, system engineering, or technical project managementStrong understanding of IP networking and VoIP technologiesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reportingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environmentEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
