For over 50 years, our pulp and paper manufacturing facility has been a cornerstone of quality and innovation. Since joining the Nippon Dynawave family in 2016, we’ve invested heavily in technology and people—making our mill more competitive than ever. Now, we’re looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor/Planner to help us drive reliability and performance in our Liquid Packaging operations.
What You’ll Do
This is a dual-role position combining planning and supervision responsibilities:
Planner Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly and long-range maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate across operations, engineering, and contractors for seamless execution.
- Manage backlog and create detailed Gantt charts for shutdowns using MS Project.
- Act as primary scheduler for Total Mill Outages under Mill Coordinator guidance.
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a skilled mechanical maintenance team.
- Ensure safe, high-quality execution of maintenance work.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Facilitate team meetings, resolve issues, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Oversee administrative tasks including reporting and payroll.
What You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA regulations.
- Mechanical trade qualification or mechanical engineering degree.
- Experience with precision maintenance and CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
- Skilled in MS Project and familiar with maintenance planning tools.
- Ability to read drawings, estimate resources, and coordinate multiple trades.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: Paper/pulp mill experience.
Schedule: Day shift with occasional shift work.
