Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company – A leading materials testing and inspection firm - has an exciting opportunity for ICC-certified Reinforced Concrete (other certifications a plus) Special Inspectors in Phoenix, Arizona. ICC inspectors will play a critical role providing clients with detailed inspections of structures throughout the state of Arizona. Operators will be based in Phoenix, but will provide services throughout Arizona including Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott and Prescott Valley, Yuma and others. In general the position will be responsible for:
- Field inspections of various structures.
- Record keeping and report writing
- Communication with engineers, contractor, and managers
- Training apprentice inspectors
Education/Certifications:
- ICC certification for reinforced concrete, masonry and post tension.
- ACI field Certification
- High School or GED
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field a bonus
- CWI Certification a bonus
