Job Description: Ninyo & Moore’s has an immediate opening for a Principal or Chief Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Manager in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. The candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring technical staff, and providing technical guidance on large, complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams and sub-consultants. The candidate will also serve as Principal-in-Charge on selected projects and oversee field and lab operations.
Education/Licensure: A Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. Nevada PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
Qualifications: 20 years of combined geotechnical and construction experience. Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills; Advanced knowledge in geotechnical design software.
