Position description
The Ninth Circuit seeks to fill a Circuit Judicial Assistant position responsible for supporting the administrative and secretarial duties of a Circuit Judge. The position requires extensive public contact and excellent organizational and computer skills. The chosen candidate will be courteous and have excellent communication skills. This position requires a high school diploma and 4 years of experience as either a legal secretary, paralegal, or judicial assistant. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis. An undergraduate degree and experience is preferred. This is a state funded position with full benefits to include excellent health benefits, state retirement pension or investment plan, free life insurance, and paid holidays.
