What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery/Cafe Clerk position at Nino's Bakery?
The starting amount is $15/hr plus tips. Looking for Part Time Counter help.
Responsibilities include making specialty coffees (espresso, cappuccino, latte, frappe), cross training on food preparation (turbo chef, cold subs), stocking cases, finishing baked goods, and helping customers. Customer service experience is a plus.
Being able to work together with fellow employees, listen and follow directions from supervisors, having a positive attitude are all very important.
Having a dedicated way to work. Must be able to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Generally, shifts won't run earlier than 5 am or later than 4 pm.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience
- Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems, we use Square
- Experience in food service and handling, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating time management skills
- Familiarity with food preparation and upselling to increase sales
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and transactions
