We’re looking for a seasoned Electrical Project Manager to join our Ventura team and lead high-impact projects from start to finish.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong track record in commercial construction and educational/college campus projects. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values quality and collaboration, and is passionate about delivering results on complex, high-visibility projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects – from planning through closeout
- Lead project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, architects, and school district stakeholders
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and code compliance
- Oversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and inspections
- Mentor junior staff and foster a strong team-oriented jobsite culture
- Interface directly with clients and educational facility representatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management
- Proven success on commercial and educational/college campus projects (required)
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and applicable codes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to work on-site in Ventura, CA
